Experiments in Roses
I just received 60 new roses and planted them in our new high tunnel Wayne built for me this fall! I already had 1 row planted and we just planted a 2nd row! Wayne dug holes and I planted! I'm so thankful for a strong and hardworking husband! Wayne has spent a lot of time researching root zone heating and really wanted to try it out on my roses to give them an early start and hopefully a late finish. Wayne started digging yesterday and dug 2 more 100' rows today. He wants to dig two more rows in the middle and then he will hook up pipe and find a gas hot water tank and hook up a propane tank. Still a lot of time and money to go -- hopefully though it will be worth all the hard work and will pay off.
